I've been on amazon again and was shopping around but didnt buy anything.
Looking at the Kindle but then I have such a massive reading archive from the gutenberg project to plough through a load of books I have on my phone it will take me years to run out of reading content so I don't need a Kindle yet but they look like fun!

Planet Earth
Indeed a Planet is a 'wanderer' from the origin of that word.
Let us not let the panet wander into a state if disintegration, poverty of life and gerneral disrepair.
It's worth looking after and so are the people on it and we should see how long we can get our civilisation to last by supplanting greed for inciteful and future thinking planning.
If we rape the planet of it's resources and do not use these wisely to sustain future lives then indeed us beings as we are now will have a very uncomfortable end point of existence.
Let's not commit an end game so soon.

Bombs on planes....
These Terrorists are numbskulls.
If they wanted to cause some disruption, other than the loss of some UPS parcels...
Anyway, they are numbskulls as they are going about things the wrong way.
They are jealous of the trappings of capitalism, have clearly not one ounce of relgionism in them any more.
If they are doing these things for religious reasons (unlikely - more likely they are just plain lunatics
with a distinct inability to lead a sansibel life) then they are specious at best and if they like giving a bad
rap to thier religion then they are bombing themselves in the foot.
Nutters.
Hope none of the bombs goes off.
Also MI6 etc. surely knew about all this as tip offs came in from somewhere....
They should take these guys out when they know who they are not just sit and watch and wait until something actually happens.

The Cooling Effect
Winter seems to have a cooling effect on a great many things.
There are shorter days so less daylight to get things done in.
Housebuilding slows down, roadworks slow down, the rain comes down and slows things down even more.
Rain slows the traffic down (hopefully) so everyone gets home safe after work and arrives at work safely in the dark mornings.
Winter needs your co-operation too.
Sweep up your leaves, prepare your garden for winter. Find your gloves, make sure you have your ice scraper in the car as no longer do we have old casette or CD boxes in our car. Scraping the ice off with your MP3 player or USB stick would be silly.
Wrap up warm, take your winter soup and vitamins.
Get your hat on, the heat lost from your head is significant, thermal underwear helps sloy heat loss when it's windy, get a windproof jacket on top, sometimes easier than just piling on layers.
Have a warm pie in the evenings.
